Census 2010 Information

Somerset County is working very closely with the New York Census Bureau Office in promoting the importance of filling out and mailing back the 2010 Census form.  Recently, I met with the Census Bureau’s Partnership Specialist who is assigned to work with municipal and county governments and organizations in Somerset County to promote the importance of the Census 2010 to our residents.  Our partnership specialist is

Mr. Frey welcomes all Somerset County municipalities along with all organizations and persons who wish to obtain census information or sponsor an event at which the Census Bureau can distribute information promoting the 2010 Census to contact him directly.

Somerset County will be working closely with Mr. Frey between now and April 2010 Census Day.  Somerset County will be sending municipal officials Census materials that explain the importance of the Census, how it affects funding for many different programs that their resident’s participate.

Somerset County encourages our municipalities to offer links to these Census 2010 promotional materials either on their web site or in newsletters or other public forums.  Below is an assortment of links to Census 2010 materials to distribute to your residents.  All materials can be copied and e-mailed to your residents, placed on your municipal web site or included in paper or e-newsletters that include information and events important to your residents.
