Somerset County Map Available

An updated road map of Somerset County with its 21 municipalities is available to members of the community, and individuals visiting or relocating to the area, with compliments of the Somerset County Board of Chosen Freeholders.

“This is the third time in as many years that we’ve had the map revised, which is a reflection of the tremendous growth that continues to take place in Somerset County,” said Freeholder Director Ken Scherer.

The map encompasses 305 square miles of Somerset County including interstate and state highways, county roads, streets, county parks and golf courses, state and local parks and golf courses, municipal buildings, schools, libraries and police stations.  It also highlights 78 historic districts and sites, which are listed on the National and New Jersey Registers of Historic Places.

One free map per person can be obtained by calling the county’s special map-request phone line at (908) 231-7000 or by sending an e-mail to publicinfo@co.s omerset.nj.us.  Individuals ordering multiple copies will be charged $2.50 each for shipping and handling.
